We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Students may charge course materials and supplies to their Tuition account during the start of each term. Exact dates are posted on the Campus Calendar.

All-Campus Spending is available to faculty, staff, retirees and students and is accepted in-store only. Orders tendered in full with All-Campus Spending are eligible for a 10% discount. See a sales associate for details.

Tuition Charging Policy

Students may charge to their tuition accounts items deemed necessary for coursework. Students may charge specialty course materials adopted by professors including batons, drumsticks, sheet music paper and recorders. Students may also charge school supplies such as writing instruments, calculators, planners, notebooks, and binders as well as technology accessories including ear buds, device chargers and batteries. ID holders and lanyards are included on the items that can be charged to tuition accounts.

Students may not charge apparel or gift items such as drinkware.

Tuition charging is available at the beginning of Fall and Winter semesters, with exact dates determined by the Business Office. During May Term, the Business Office only allows students with a credit balance to charge to their account.

Shipping Policies

Shipping Rates

The Wartburg Store utilizes a flat rate shipping model, based on order total.

  • Orders up to $49.99:  $8.00
  • Orders over $50.00:   $10.00
  • In-Store Pick-Up: Free

Orders placed Monday-Friday before 2:00 PM will be shipped the same business day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM will be shipped the following business day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped the next business day.

Shipping does not occur on Wartburg College Campus Holidays, as these are not considered business days.

The Wartburg Store reserves the right to cancel any order suspected of fraud.

Same Day In-Store Pick Up

Orders placed Monday-Friday before 2:00 PM will be ready for pick-up within 1 hour. Orders placed after 2:00 PM will be ready for pick-up by 10:00 AM the next business day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be ready for pick-up by 10:00 AM the next business day.

You will receive an email confirmation with your order number. Please have the order number ready when coming to the store to pick up your order.

If you do not pick up your order within 30 days of email notification we will issue a refund minus a 25% restocking fee.

Returns & Exchanges

We sincerely hope you enjoy your purchase, but we understand that sometimes customers change their minds or items simply do not fit. Please read our policies below before placing your order to ensure there are no surprises with processing any changes or returns. 

Return Policy

We gladly accept returns of unworn and unaltered merchandise* with original tags and receipt within 30 days of the date of purchase. Refunds will be provided to the original form of payment. If a receipt is not present, you will be eligible for a refund in the form of a Gift Card for the current price of the item.

*Clearance merchandise is not eligible for a full refund, but may be exchanged for alternate item(s) or a store gift card.

Exchanging Merchandise

In the case of exchanging merchandise, please contact us at thestore@wartburg.edu with your order number and the item(s) that you wish to exchange. You may bring the item(s) to the store for exchange or mail the item(s) you wish to exchange back to us. Please see next section for preparing your return.

Preparing Your Return

We ask that you pay the shipping charges to return the item(s) you are exchanging to us. We will cover the cost of sending the new item(s) back to you. We recommend using a mail service with tracking, as The Wartburg Store cannot be held liable for any lost items in shipping.

Upon receipt of your returned order that meet the above return requirements, we will refund you the purchase price of your returned item(s) to your original form of payment in 1-3 business days.
